MEUBLE Fine Furniture

MEUBLE Fine Furniture was started in 2019 by architect Ivan McCarthy Peens and manufacturing partner Theunis Erwee. MEUBLE is an extension of Ivan's architecture studio, offering a collection of products as a complement to the studio's design services. It is characterised by slow living and the notion that handmade craft and quality materials are valued over the fast-paced changes of trends and fads. MEUBLE's aim is to design and manufacture timeless furniture pieces that will be relevant for years to come.

For Cape Town Furniture Week 2024, MEUBLE opens their showroom and studio to the public, while also exhibiting their Port Occasional Chair in the official CTFW New Design Exhibition.
